"2021" New Doors Opening

Yes its 2021.  Last year was a little rough.  Over 70 shows canceled and it changed the entire shape of the year.  My plan was to be full time in music ministry in 2020.  God's plan was for me to be home more and take care of other projects.  I keep reminding myself that none of this surprised God one bit.  He allowed covid to do what it did.  I like to use the expression that you are walking down a hallway with God.  There are endless doors in this hallway.  He has the master set of keys to them all.  Some He will pass by and not even take a glance.  Some He may open so you can see the other side and then gives you the choice to walk through.  However those doors might not be the best option for you.  So find the door that He not only opens but gives His approval and you will be blessed beyond all comprehension.  Just don't the one to kick down doors because you think you want what is on the other side.  Those doors will always lead to destruction and bring you down.  So far this year has been amazing.  I can't wait to see what all is in store.  God is still moving in this country and I am proud to stand and I say I am one of His and will serve Him until my final breath.

Thanks for checking out my site.  The first thing you should know about me is that I love Jesus.  I also don't like to write bios that sound like I copied it right from wikipedia.  I was born and raised in a very rural area in southwest Wisconsin.  Go Packers!  I started playing guitar at age 15 and began leading worship for a youth group at 16.  That was many years ago.  In 2007 I helped start a band called Finding Fortress.  After varied success and drama through an opportunity to move to Nashville we fell apart in 2011.  Through it all I now see God was saying now is not the time or place.  After heading to Nashville my first solo album was released in the summer of 2016.  Since heading into a solo career God has blessed me time and time again.  Hearing stories of how my music has touched lives and brought people back to church is very humbling.  God is on the move and I am so glad to be part of his church.
